…that is my body. That’s right, next Saturday I’m going to get a tattoo…so who’s free? Anyone want to go along? Anyone else want a tattoo? I’ve said for some time now that I only want one tattoo and lots of people already know the design. BUT…I’ve now decided that I want two tattoos…the one I wanted previously and another one of a dog pawprint.
The problem is that I don’t have any tattoos and I have no direction. Where is a good place to go? Do I need to bring a drawing/picture? Will the tattoo artist help me “refine” my design? Who knew there were so many questions that go along with permanently defiling my body…
Do I go with the cartoon-y version?
Or the real-er version? (although I’d leave out the nail prints).
I’ve also seen one that uses an upside-down heart for the big pad, but I think that’s a little cheesy. I also want to put the letter M in the big pad. HELP! Opinions, please.
I know that many people are very much anti-tattoo. Husband used to be pretty against it, but he’s come around. My mom couldn’t really care less, but my stepdad thinks it’s just effin’ ridiculous. I even have friends who are my age who think tattoos and piercings are just horrible. I personally don’t see a problem with it. I would never pierce anything on my face. That’s just me. I also wouldn’t get a tattoo that would show all the time. You just never know about things in today’s world. I’ve known people to lose out on job opportunities because of tattoos and body piercings.
How do you feel about tattoos/body piercings? Pro? Anti? Don’t care? I’d love some other opinions.
Oh, and if anyone can lead me in the right direction regarding any of the above questions, let me know. I know a few of you know tattoo people and stuff….so please clue me in.
